U.S. News & World Report Names 33 Life Care Services Communities to 2025 Best Senior Living Rankings

Apr 15, 2025
Each community was named “a best” in one of the U.S News categories: independent living, assisted living, memory care, or CCRC.

Life Care Services, An LCS Company, has announced that 33 of its communities have earned the highest possible rating in U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Senior Living list. Each community was named “a best” in one of the U.S News categories: independent living, assisted living, memory care, and continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), with many achieving recognition across multiple categories. The communities that received recognition are either wholly owned by LCS or managed by Life Care Services.

“We are honored that so many of our communities continue to be recognized year after year by U.S. News & World Report as among the best in senior living,” said Chris Bird, LCS President and CEO. “This ongoing recognition is a testament to the dedication of our teams and the unwavering support of our residents, families, and communities. It’s a privilege to serve nearly 40,000 seniors nationwide, and we’re proud that the quality, care, and satisfaction we strive for are being felt by those who matter most.”

In addition to the listing above, The Avalon of New Albany (New Albany, OH), scored in the top 25% to receive an additional ‘Feels Like Home’ accolade for its Assisted Living community.

“Choosing a senior living community is a major life decision for older adults and their families,” said Liz Pearce, director, senior living at U.S. News. “Notably, an additional U.S. News survey of older Americans on their experiences with loneliness found that moving into senior living communities significantly improves residents' social well-being: 61% reported reduced loneliness, and 85% made new friends.”

The 2025 ratings were determined from nearly 450,000 consumer experience surveys of residents and family members of senior living communities. Visit U.S. News & World Report for more information and to access the detailed methodology report for the U.S. News Best Senior Living ratings.
