LCS’ inaugural “InnoTank^TM” event received a Gold award at the McKnight’s Technology Awards + Summit virtual event on Oct. 3, 2024. The award was given in the Homegrown category to recognize providers who started their own innovations to improve their organizations and the senior living industry.

LCS created InnoTank to showcase innovative ideas or technology-forward ideas from corporate and community employees through a pitch-style competition with the winner receiving a $10,000 grand prize. The competition was held live in front of over 450 attendees during the LCS Senior Living Management Conference in Des Moines, Iowa, in June.

A team entry from Cypress Village was selected as the 2024 InnoTank winner for their scalable business plan to transform care for their residents. The judges also named the pitch from Beth Elwood, CPS Account Manager, as the runner-up for her Senior Living Loyalty idea. LCS is working with each winner to further develop and test their winning ideas.
