Greenwood Village South held a groundbreaking ceremony on Monday, September 30, to kick off the first phase of its ambitious $100 million master plan. The Life Plan community is located in Greenwood, Indiana, with expansion master planning and development is being led by long-time partner, LCS Development, An LCS Company.   

The event marked the start of its two-phase master plan of construction:  The groundbreaking event kicks off plans for a new alternate entrance on Apryl Drive, designed to provide more convenient access to the community for residents and guests. The project is expected to be complete in November 2024.  

Future development plans include new, state-of-the-art independent living residences, new assisted living and memory care apartments, and a vibrant new hub of amenities to its 63-acre campus. Planned amenities include a new clubhouse, performing arts center, wellness and fitness center with an indoor pool, multi-service bistro and bar, and a salon and spa.

“We’re thrilled to kick off the first phase of Greenwood Village South’s improvement project,” said Ted Bolles, Project Development Manager, LCS Development.  “The connections along Apryl Drive will enhance resident safety and provide better options for entering the community. This is also an important step toward the development of our new 66-village flat apartments. We can’t wait to see the positive impact these projects will make for current and future residents.”
