Five LCS Employees Recognized for SalesFIRST Excellence
LCS has recognized five employees for their contributions and achievements to SalesFIRST™, a company imperative designed to elevate experiences for residents and deliver industry-leading performance across LCS-owned or managed communities. SalesFIRST focus areas include Focus, Invest, Responsibility, Systems, and Transparency.
“SalesFIRST has created a culture that empowers our employees to deliver on our promise to serve more seniors and exceed expectations at every step along the way,” said Chris Bird, LCS President and COO. “These honorees were nominated by their peers to recognize their SalesFIRST commitment, leadership, and results. I am thankful for their dedication to our residents and communities.”
SalesFIRST honorees include:
- FOCUS: Chelsey Gibson, Sr. Financial Analyst
Chelsey led the 2024 budget process for company’s Peak portfolio, and continually looked for ways to improve and make the process more effective/productive. Her leadership and diligence resulted in millions of dollars in savings and drove improvements to the budgeted net operating income. Just as important, she was a strong partner to the operations and sales teams and recognized the support team for their efforts along the way. - INVEST: Amy Waugh, Regional Marketing & Sales Director
Amy was nominated for her embodiment of the SalesFIRST culture with her team and with her communities. Most of her communities outperform their quarterly budgets – largely due to Amy’s partnership, support, and collaboration. She yields impressive results through her INVESTMENT in her community’s successes, and sharing her expertise and motivation through her leadership. - RESPONSIBILITY: Baylie Panzie, Community Talent & Human Resources Director Baylie is changing the landscape of our communities by aligning her talent in the recruitment process with the needs at the community level to reduce agency, reduce Indeed spending, increase hiring events, and increase ORC utilization. Her strategic execution is changing the way the communities budget and recruit talent.
- SYSTEMS: Levi Sperry, Data Analyst, Business Insights and Analytics Team
Levi has been a critical driver in how LCS is elevating our analytics advantage, especially for our sales teams. In 2023 Levi built Sales 360, LCS’s most widely used Power BI tool that is delivering significant time savings for our sales leaders, newfound insights into lost lead trends, why conversion rates are dropping, and more. Levi simplified the complex process of data analytics and made it accessible and user-friendly for everyone, and is a trusted partner across our business. - TRANSPARENCY: Colleen Edwards, Director of Sales and Marketing, The Marshes of Skidaway Island
Colleen strongly believes in transparency, integrity, and honesty. She kicks off weekly leadership team meetings with SalesFirst examples and invites other team members to share their success. Colleen and her sales counselor reached a new record in 2023, adding over 100 new prospects to the 300-person wait list for her community. This has driven the board to look at expansion opportunities through the strategic and master planning process which will commence in 2024.
This is the second time LCS has recognized employees for SalesFIRST excellence. The inaugural awards were launched at 2023 LCS Leadership Summit.
