September 2, 2010, 11:00 a.m. CDT: A hurricane warning has been issued for coastal North Carolina to the Virginia border and for Southeastern Massachusetts. The hurricane watch area extends to Delaware. Tropical storm watches and warnings extend from North Carolina to Maine. Planning is underway at those communities that have the potential to be impacted by the storm.
